In-4 in sheets with red and black printed cover, illustrated slipcases (to be restored) - 308 pp, [4 ff.] Work illustrated with 74 colour compositions by Ch. Huard : 6 h-t, 34 chapter headbands and 34 culs-de-lampe (including 32 portraits). Edition at 410 copies, this one of the 20 first copies on Japon impérial containing a suite in colours on Arches, a suite of the line in black, three suites in phototypesetting in blue, green and red (n° 5). A copy of Colonel Sickles with a registered letter from the author, enriched with 3 large original watercolours of the portraits of Derby, Gortchakoff and Mary-Ann âgée. 3 sheets of notes by A. Maurois on the "universal invariants" that are order and disorder analyzed in 10 paragraphs.
