Garcia Lorca, Federico - Grau-Sala. - Romancero gitan. Paris, Marcel Lubineau, 1960. In-4. bound in half black morocco with corners, underlined by a gilt fillet, spine with mosaic of tan and brown morocco representing a guitar, shaped and edged case, gilt headband - 138, [2] pp. Illustrated with 15 double-page colour compositions (in-t) and a frontispiece by Emilio Grau-Sala. Edition at 375 copies on Rives vellum, one of 275 numbered from 76 to 350 (n° 215). The Romancero gitano, published in 1928, is Garcia Lorca's best-known work, the one that made him famous and which is now considered a masterpiece of 20th century Spanish literature. The poems were translated by Jean Prévost, Jules Supervielle, Claude Couffon, Bernard Sezé and André Belamich.
