In-folio, fawn calf, spine ribbed and decorated, spotted edges, defects to the headpieces, superficial epidermis on the boards, rubbed edges and corners, scattered foxing - [2 ff.], xvj pp., [2 ff.], 604 pp., [18 ff.] Following: Ferd. Caroli Weinhart Medicus Officiosus Cum Indicibus necessariis. 2 ff.], 92 pp. Lazare Rivière (1589-1659) was received as a doctor at the University of Montpellier in 1611 and taught there from 1622 until his death. 2/ Selected consultations of several famous doctors of the University of Montpellier, on acute and chronic diseases. Paris, Durand, Pissot, 1750-1757. 10 volumes in-12 bound in brown calf, spine with ornate nerves, brown calf title and giblets, chiselled edges, red edges. Marginal staining on the first volume, scattered foxing - Interesting series of consultations covering all areas of medicine from renal colic to "vapours", including knee pain and scabies. Very detailed prescriptions. Among the signatories of these consultations, which took place in the first half of the 18th century, we find celebrities such as Chicoyneau, Haguenot or Lazerme. 3/ - Dissertationes medicæ selectiores in Monspeliensi Ludoviceo propugnatæ. Monspelii, Joannem Martel, [1749-1778]. 4 strong volumes in-4, bound in contemporary brown calf, spines decorated, red edges - wear to the bindings. Important collection of theses and dissertations defended at the University of Montpellier.
