Edouard CAZAUX (1889-1974) VASE with Nymphs, 1955 Stoneware turned and glazed. Horn-shaped with a circular base and a flared body. Painted decoration of a round of nymphs with white bodies standing out on a dark green leafy background. The base and the inside of the neck covered with cracked gold. Signature dated engraved below CAZAUX /1955. H. 33 D. base 19 D. opening 24 cm The museum of Saint-Maur possesses the most important public collection of this famous ceramist sculptor who established himself in La Varenne in 1920.
