SUKU-HOLO HAT, Democratic Republic of Congo Wood with brown patina, pigments. H. 22 cm Face inscribed in a heart, eyes and mouth slit, the left part tinted with red ochre pigments, the right with white pigments. The hairstyle is covered with stamped pastillated motifs, and above the neck with a frieze of large chevrons. Hanging holes for the ornament are made all around the headdress and the chin.
