Napoleone MARTINUZZI (1892-1977) & Gino CENEDESE (1907-1973) The Creation of the World Circa 1953-1958. Two large luminous columns ornamented with 14 multicoloured glass blocks of hemispherical shape, decorated with Adam and Eve, fish, crustaceans, birds in relief, presented in a wooden frame (one-block splinters and cracks). He had a freethinker profile and a pronounced interest in foreign collectibles. He travelled to Japan, America and Switzerland to acquire exceptional objects, including this pair of lamps by Napoleone Martinuzzi bought from Cenedese in Lugano in the 1960s.
