Wrought iron CABASSET in one piece, bomb with stripes decoration, the lug of the upper part is crushed, hemmed edges, with two lacks; the lower part is provided with rivets decorated with brass rosettes in the shape of flowers, for the fixing of the padding which is absent; it is engraved, on the front, with an armoured shield representing two passing dogs on a sandblasted bottom. Wear and tear. 17th century period. Fairly good condition PROVENANCE: sale study Couturier-Nicolay, Drouot left bank, October 25 and 26, 1978, No. 312.
