Rectangular TEA BOX with cut sides, made of black lacquered wood with gold decoration of palace scenes. Contains two pewter tea tins, the grip of the inner lids in ivory, in the shape of a flower. The four feet of the box are shaped like the heads of chimeras. One foot detached; wear and tear, small lacks, cracks, splits, crazing. China for export, Canton, 19th century.
