H. 23 cm, pedestal 11 cm high The German sculptor Bernhard Hoetger trained at the academy in Düsseldorf. Then, on his return to Germany, he was appointed master of the Darmstadt artists' colony and wanted to integrate sculptural groups into architectural ensembles.
