MIDI, early 19th century Rectangular two-storey REVOLUTIONARY INK with drawers. With polychrome decoration on the top two cherubs each bearing a burning lictor's beam and the crest by a chain marked AB. In front of a drawer with stylized flowers, underneath an inflamed heart pierced by two arrows. An earthenware hourglass. Underneath a central drawer and on either side two crowned eagles, set on a fence surrounded by laurel leaves. On the left side a musical scene in a garden showing a flautist sitting in front of a score, opposite him a singer, his lectern open in front of her and the inscription above WE ARE ACOORD underlined with a hug. On the right side a gallant couple is walking in the countryside, the young woman holding a rake. Blue, yellow and green net on the edges. Rolled up socket of the bottom drawer redone, the ink container is missing. W. 16.5 H. 16.5 cm
