ROANNE, late 18th century - Lot 188
ROANNE, late 18th century REVOLUTIONARY PLATE with polychrome decoration in the centre in a medallion of a young sailor standing on a mound holding a flag marked VIVE LA NATION on his shoulders. On the wing and the drop four crossbars are interspersed with reserves of stylized flowers, yellow nets. Carries two labels from the PM Sestié collection and the Gossec March 1989 conservatory exhibition on the reverse. Chips on the edges. D. 22 cm
