NEVERS, late 18th century - Lot 182
NEVERS, late 18th century REVOLUTIONARY ASSEMBLY with contoured edges, polychrome decoration in the centre of a medallion with the inscription vive la nation, behind a pike topped with a Phrygian cap, four flags and two cannons. Hemmed net punctuated on the edge and yellow net. Carries two labels from the PM Sestié collection and the Gossec conservatory exhibition March 1989 on the reverse. Slight wear on the edge.
