NEVERS, late 18th century REVOLUTIONARY PLATE with contoured edges with polychrome decoration in the centre in an oval medallion with the inscription W la liberté and underneath an inflamed heart. Behind a lictor's beam surmounted by a Phrygian cap and six blue flags on either side. On the wing braids of fleurettes and nets. Wears a PM Sestié collection label.
