NEVERS, late 18th century, circa 1790 - Lot 141
NEVERS, late 18th century, circa 1790 REVOLUTIONARY ASSEMBLY with contoured edges with polychrome decoration in the centre in a blue reserve of the three intersecting orders, the spade supported by the knot of the reserve. Three burning hearts frame the emblems of the orders. On the handle of the spade a flail and a small rake intersect. Leafy spray at the foot. Sowing of flowers on the wing and yellow net on the edge. Bears a label of collection Sestié and Claude Bonnet and exhibition conservatory Gossec March 1989. Grain. D. 23 cm BIBLIOGRAPHIE : similar model in Claude Bonnet, op. cit. p. 91 figure 82; P. M.
