NEVERS, late 18th century, circa 1789 REVOLUTIONARY PLATE with contoured edges with polychrome decoration in the centre of an escutcheon with three fleurs-de-lys surmounted by a crown and framed by two flags, flutes, cannonballs and a drum at the foot. Black net and green wolf's teeth on the edges. Wears a label of collection PM Sestié and conservatory exhibition Gossec March 1989 on the reverse. Scratches and chips on the edges.
