Philipp KOENING, received as a master in 1767 Calyx in vermeil, silver, 2nd title 800‰. The cut is adorned with an applique decoration of silver with wheat ears, shells and laurel friezes. The knot is decorated with carved bouquets of roses, the terrace and the foot are repoussé and decorated with pamper. Marked for Strasbourg 1784. 28 x 17 cm Weight 672 g A vermeil paten, silver 1st title, 925‰, Vieillard punch for Paris is attached. Engraved "IHS" in a crown of thorns. D. 16 cm Weight 135,50 g A chalice of the same goldsmith is listed in the collections of the Musée des Arts décoratifs de Strasbourg. Inventory number: XXIV.12
