Boule de Genève - Watch in the shape of a ball in yellow gold, 18k 750‰, and platinum, 900‰, adorned with a translucent blue enamel on a guilloché background, surrounded by a border punctuated with white enamel and a line of pink cut diamonds. White dial, Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, bezel set with pink-cut diamonds, mechanical movement with manual winding in its original condition. With its 18k yellow gold chain 750‰, and platinum chain 900‰, equipped with enamelled sticks on the model, topped with small fine pearls (not tested). Missing and accidents. Circa 1930. D. of the ball 19 mm approx. L. of the chain 57,5 cm Gross weight 33,85 g This watch model, called the boule de Genève, generally has a movement arranged on two floors. We know that Marius LeCoultre (1847-1915) filed a patent in 1889 on a similar system with winding and time setting by rotating the upper part.
